About me

I’m a native Californian serving as the Senior Vice President of Communications & Strategy for Visit California.

I have been with Visit California since 2012, helping guide the organization’s public relations strategy and crisis response efforts. Before joining Visit California, I spent more than a decade as a journalist, primarily working as a newspaper editor.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MBA from California State University, Sacramento. I enjoy the state’s active lifestyle, whether that means snowboarding in the Sierra or SCUBA diving along California’s coastline. I live in Sacramento with my wife, children and dogs.
